Aceyou's 5-Minute Tennis Lesson - Two Handed Backhand Grip

As promised in my earlier video about how to hold a tennis racket, here's a lesson geared toward those of you who want to hit a two-handed backhand.

I still don't understand why people prefer this - I've always used one hand. You get more range that way. And, if a two-hander is so superior, then why aren't you hitting two-handed forehands as well?

Oh well.

Here's another free lesson. Won't cost ya a cent. Nothing. Nada.

Aceyou's 5-Minute Tennis Lesson - How to Hold Your Tennis Racket

As promised, here's another free tennis lesson.

One thing I've noticed about a lot of beginning players, even some who have been playing for YEARS, is that no one ever took the time to show them how to hold the racket.

This isn't badminton folks!

So here's a free lesson. Save that 50 bucks you were going to pay a pro and buy your significant other a special treat instead.

I have nothing better to do, so I decided to give some free tennis lessons!

Well, as you probably have figured out, I'm either an expert poker player or a terrific tennis player. The name Ace does come from my tennis skills though, so, if you guessed the latter you're in luck.

Why?

Because I've decided to share my great wealth of tennis knowledge and experiences with a series of free tennis lessons for you. Gee, you'd have to pay $50 or more to a USPTA pro to get what I'm giving you for nothing.

So, here is the first one - especially geared to those of us stuck at home with local or state COVID-19 Stay-at-Home orders.

Time on my hands, I'm back! Hope everyone is safe.

It has been awhile since I last posted here on Ace's Take. In fact, it's been so long, I forgot I even had a blog called Ace's Take!!!!

Anyway, I hope you all are safe and hanging in there during this unprecedented pandemic. Some are doing better than others, some have experienced and are experiencing tragedy.  Things will never be the same.

However, I hope that some of my smartassedness will ease things occasionally. I hope to hone my wits in that regard in the next few days.

So, Be Safe! Take Care! Funny shit (I hope) coming soon!

New CD Release - Mind's Eye by Kama Ruby and the Rough Cuts

Hey, I'm not one to usually brag about stuff (cough, cough), but, I have a hot wife who is a talented actress, dancer, and singer.

She has a new CD out - just released this month -"Mind's Eye" by Kama Ruby and the Rough Cuts.

It's an interesting and eclectic mix of genres and features some heavyweight musicians, including:

Mike Garson (he was David Bowie's long time pianist for all of you cretins out there),

Tom Walsh (drummer and one of the original members of America and Spyro Gyra),

and the legendary Jane Getz (Google her) - she also co-produced the album.

I might be slightly biased, but, this CD is great!

You can download any track or the entire album at CD Baby (other sites will be offering it as well soon, such as Amazon, iTunes, etc. Here's a link: Mind'sEye @CDBaby

Or, if you are like me and just have to have that hard copy in your hand, with all of the cool pictures and liner notes, you can order an autographed copy right here: Mind's Eye Autographed CD

So, wth are you waiting for? Get out that credit card, you won't regret it!
